Combining great performance, a practical design and by being exceptionally user-friendly, the Lampuga Air may be considered the ultimate water toy. The inflatable electric jetboard has a unique two-part design that demonstrate great balance, stability and control. In contrast to hard bodied boards, the air inside the board’s inflatable hull allows it to float when the rider’s weight is added to the board, enabling riders to stand, sit or lie on the board before accelerating. By being incredibly easy to use it offers thrilling fun for all riders, regardless of experience level, age or physique. Its hull is made of a robust drop-stitch material, which comes in several playful colours, is equipped with five handles and has a non-slip grip pad centre.

Lampuga Air PACKAGE
When purchasing the Lampuga Air you will receive the standard part- and accessory package included as part of your purchase. The package contains all the necessary parts and accessories you may need for your new board. It also includes an extensive handbook to get you up and riding in no time. The Lampuga Air package is transported and delivered in three separate cardboard boxes; one containing the inflatable hull and spare parts (120 x 80 x 35 cm), one containing the Powerbox (120 x 80 x 35 cm) and one containing the battery (65 x 35 x 20 cm).

The Lampuga surfboards are powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 3.6 kWh. Depending on the driving style, weight, experience level and on the weather conditions, the battery allows for a ride up to 45 minutes. Utilizing a plug-and-play battery system, the battery is both re-chargeable and removable, allowing for an effortless re-charge or battery change. Using a 230-volt outlet, it takes the battery approx. 120 minutes to get fully charged. The battery is equipped with a LED display located on its top side, which displays the charging state of the battery.

The surfboards are equipped with a 10KW electric motor, which equals to 14hp. The motor is powered when the battery is inserted into the board’s battery compartment and the power button located on the battery is pressed. To ensure that the motor runs on an optimal temperature a cooling system is employed, where water is sucked in and circulated through pipes surrounding the motor.

Jet Drive
Powered by the electrical motor, the boards are accelerated forward by a jet drive. The jet drive sucks in water, which is accelerated by an impeller to create a powerful stream of water, which is forced out at the stern of the board. The force creates a thrust of over 50kg that pushes the board forward, enabling the Lampuga Air to reach a speed of 50km/h.

Remote Control
The rider controls the speed of the powered surfboards using a hand-held remote control, which is connected to the board via Bluetooth. The remote control is attached to a handle that is connected to the board by a tether. The handle provides the rider with greater stability and control by giving the rider something to hold on to while riding. The remote control is detachable for the more experienced riders who wants to ride without the stability of the handle.

Kill Switch
An important safety measure, which is in place on all the Lampuga boards, is the magnetic kill switch system. The kill switch is located at the back of the board and is connected to the ankle of the rider by a safety cord. If the rider falls off the board, the kill switch detaches from its socket and the motor is immediately turned off.
